A Free Workshop for Teachers

The MSU Extension Service, along with Misssippi credit unions and other partners, is offering financial literacy training to Mississippi teachers at no charge. The training targets middle-school and high-school teachers and is scheduled to take place March - July at various dates and locations throughout the state.

The Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 increased the insurance coverage on all accounts up to $250,000. The NCUA Insurance Call Center, operating from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (EDT) Monday through Friday, has insurance experts available to answer questions about the coverage provided by NCUA share insurance. The toll-free Insurance Call Center number is 1-800-755-1030, ext. 1.
