Purpose:

An exciting opportunity with this dynamic, busy, high-volume but friendly environment that will suit an organized person with a great eye for detail and plenty of team spirit. This position will perform routine member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, money orders, transfers, and check cashing.

Your responsibilities will include:

Teller

• Balance cash drawer within guidelines of Cash Overage/Shortage Policy.
• Respond to members’ requests, problems and complaints, and/or direct them to the proper person for specific information and assistance.
• Process member verifications of deposit
• Image credit union documents at the branch level.
• Cross-sell all services offered by the Credit Union.

You will need:

• Professional, well-developed interpersonal skills necessary for servicing Credit Union members and projecting a positive image as representative for the Credit Union.
• Work requires extensive knowledge of all Credit Union products and services. These characteristics are normally acquired through completion of a high school education plus experience in the teller and/or member service area of a credit union or financial institution.
• Intermediate mathematical skill required (calculations and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.).
