Notices and Disclosures

Members Exchange, your member-owned financial institution, is committed to providing you with competitive products and services to meet your financial needs and help you reach your goals. We are equally committed to protecting the privacy of our members.

Under federal law, we are required to give you this privacy notice. It describes our credit union’s privacy policy and practices concerning the personal information we collect and disclose about our members. It also includes information about the parties who receive personal and sometimes nonpublic information from us as we conduct the business of the credit union.

Privacy Policy

You may click the link below to read our Privacy Policy. After reading our Privacy Policy, you may prefer that we do not disclose nonpublic personal information about you to non-affiliated third parties. To do this you may opt-out of those disclosures-you may direct us not to make those disclosures (other than disclosures permitted by law). If you wish to opt-out of the disclosures to non-affiliated third parties, please click here so that you can complete the Privacy Opt-Out Form.

You may opt-out of these disclosures at any time. This opt-out, by law, will not apply to disclosures that are legally permitted, disclosures to other financial institutions that have joint marketing agreements with us, disclosures we make to companies that perform services on our behalf, or companies that process or service transactions you request or authorize.

Once we receive your request, we have a reasonable amount of time to stop the disclosures. You may always contact us for assistance if you wish to later revoke your opt-out election.

Online Privacy Statement

Our general website does not gather personal data from visitors. However, we may use web analytics services to help us analyze site usage and improve the user experience. These services do not collect personal information about a user. Rather, they employ “cookies”, which are files placed on your computer to generate information about your use of the website. The cookie provides information about your use of the website (including your IP address), which is transmitted to us or to our analytics provider. You may set your browser to refuse cookies, but if you do so, not all features of this site may be fully functional for you.

Our Mobile App and your Location Data

Our mobile banking app periodically collects, transmits, and uses geolocation information to support features that prevent fraudulent card use and alerts, but only if you expressly authorize the collection of such information. You may choose whether geolocation information can be monitored on a continuous basis in the background, only while the app is being used, or not at all. You can change your location permissions at any time in your device settings.
