Membership Eligibility
Membership is open to those having the following common bond:
- Persons who live, work, worship, or attend school in, businesses and other legal entities located in Hinds, Madison, Rankin, Simpson, Copiah, Attala, Claiborne, Covington, Holmes, Jasper, Jefferson, Jefferson Davis, Jones, Lawrence, Leake, Lincoln, Neshoba, Newton, Scott, Smith, Warren, Winston, and Yazoo Counties in Mississippi, a rural district;
- Immediate family of credit union members.
- Organizations owned by the above eligible persons.
All you need to join MEFCU is a minimum
$1.00 deposit in a share savings account.
Family Membership
Once you become a member, your immediate family members become eligible for membership. Your spouse, parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents, children, and even grandchildren are all eligible to join.
