Members Exchange CU Recognized for Advocacy Efforts

Biloxi, Miss. (5/17/19) – – Members Exchange Credit Union, headquartered in Ridgeland, Miss., has been honored as one of only 21 credit unions in Mississippi that earned an Advocacy Award, which recognizes credit unions for efforts to protect, strengthen, and expand credit unions.  Members Exchange CU was recognized for their achievement at the Mississippi Credit Union Association Annual Meeting and Convention, recently held in Biloxi, Mississippi. 

The staff of Members Exchange Credit Union was also recognized for their participation in the Credit Union Legislative Action Council (CULAC) Payroll Deduction Program (PRD) for credit union employees. During 2018, 449 Mississippi credit union employees participated in the PRD program at their credit union, with an average monthly contribution of $5.95 per month. The CULAC PRD program accounts for 86% of the total contributions from Mississippi.
